Heavy haulage diesel mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and other related components. They must be knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of a variety of diesel engines, including those used in trucks, buses, and other large vehicles. They must also be familiar with the various components of the engine, such as the fuel system, cooling system, and exhaust system. In addition, they must be able to diagnose and repair any problems that may arise with the engine.
